I am a tactile artist—texture is at the heart of my creative process. Rather than painting with pigment, I currently paint with yarn. My works are crafted from leftover wool sourced from local factories, reflecting my commitment to sustainable, eco-conscious practices.
There is a quiet warmth I feel when holding wool in my hands, and a sense of narrative emerges as I gaze at the colorful yarns lining the shelves of my studio. Each piece begins with that tactile inspiration.
The finished work often resembles a sculptural relief—reminiscent of medieval stone carvings—yet mine are soft, inviting, and meant to be experienced through touch as well as sight.
