Description
When Lina was searching a chair to put in the auditorium of the MASP (Museu de Arte de São Paulo) in its first location at Sete de Abril Avenue in São Paulo, she couldn’t find anything suitable. So she decided to design the chair herself. In doing so, she created the first modern Brazilian chair made in São Paulo in 1947. The first folding chairs were created in the famous, super resistant jacaranda paulista wood, later Estúdio Palma created a version in plywood and canvas.
